Responsibilities:
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute the institutional growth strategy. Drive the go-to-market strategy for institutional products and services.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with major institutional clients, including banks, hedge funds, asset managers and family offices. Effectively manage the sales pipeline, negotiation processes, and closing of strategic deals.
- Networking: Act as a representative for the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
- Market Research & Insight: Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, ensuring the company remains competitive and compliant.
- Product Positioning & Go-To-Market: Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure institutional offerings meet market needs and are well-positioned. Actively participate in translating market feedback to optimize current product offerings.
- Client Success & Retention: Develop and execute strategies for long-term customer retention and growth. Provide thought leadership and consultative guidance to institutional clients to drive ongoing value.
- Metrics & Reporting: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for institutional growth. Regularly report progress to the executive team, adjusting strategy as needed to meet targets.
Requirements:
- Minimally 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or growth roles within crypto or blockchain.
- Proven track record of building and managing institutional client relationships and partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the crypto and blockchain space. Specific experience in stablecoins and defi would be an added advantage.
- Deep network within the institutional financial ecosystem, including banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and corporate investors.
